Despite the crosshairs, I bear no ill towards Bill Gates. He's rich. And large targets are easy to take aim at, which is probably why Microsoft/Gates-bashing is so popular. It's hard to argue with success, nor should one begrudge it.
I am very dependent on Microsoft products, and much to their credit, they have improved considerably in recent years.
The largest reason why I don't Gates-bash is because of the immense good which comes from the Bill And Melinda Gates Foundation.

So if Windows or Word freezes up on me from time to time, I believe it's a small price to pay for the humanitarian efforts of the foundation.
